Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms aim to stipulate the conditions and procedures for using the web service and the linked Chrome extension (collectively referred to as the 'Service') provided by 'Daily Moment' (hereinafter 'the Company'), as well as the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the users and the Company.

Article 2 (Definitions)

• Web Service: Refers to functions such as goal management, statistics, and dashboard provided through the official 'Daily Moment' website.
• Extension: Refers to software installed in a browser that synchronizes data in real-time with the web service and performs site blocking.
• Focus Mode: Refers to a state where a timer is running and access to distracting sites is restricted to achieve user-set goals.

Article 3 (Contract Conclusion and Age Restriction)

1. The contract is concluded when the user agrees to the terms presented by the Company and signs up through social login (Google Auth, etc.).
2. The Service is designed for users aged 14 and older. By agreeing to these terms, you confirm that you are 14 years of age or older at the time of signup.
3. Users under 14 must obtain consent from a legal representative. If signup without consent is discovered, the Company may immediately suspend the account.

Article 4 (User Obligations and Prohibited Acts)

1. Users must use the Service only for its intended purpose of goal management and focus improvement.
2. Users shall not engage in the following acts:
   • Reverse engineering, source code extraction, or data crawling of the Company's Service.
   • Disabling or bypassing the Blocking Engine through abnormal methods.
   • Stealing another person's account information or using macros that cause excessive load on the system.

Article 5 (Main Functions and Provision)

The Company provides the following functions to users:

• Timer and Goal Management: Measurement of focus time and management of long-term/daily goals.
• Site Blocking (Blocking Engine): Technically restricts access to specific websites designated by the user during Focus Mode.
• Real-time Sync: Real-time linkage of session status and data between the web and the extension.

Article 7 (Data Storage and Usage)

1. The Company securely stores user immersion data through Firebase Cloud infrastructure, managed according to the Privacy Policy.
2. Browser messaging is used to share authentication info and timer status between the web and extension, and this is utilized solely for service provision purposes.

Article 8 (Service Interruption and Changes)

1. The Company may modify or discontinue all or part of the Service according to technical reasons or policy changes.
2. We consider Service interruptions due to policy changes by the platform (e.g., Chrome Web Store) as force majeure, and the Company is not liable for damages caused by this.

Article 9 (Intellectual Property)

All intellectual property rights regarding the content, software, design, trademarks, and logos within the Service belong to the Company. Users may not copy, distribute, modify, or commercially use them without the Company's express consent.

Article 10 (Disclaimer of Warranty)

The Service is provided as a supplementary tool to help improve user focus. The Company does not guarantee the achievement of specific learning outcomes, increased work efficiency, or other specific results through the use of this Service.

Article 11 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

1. The laws of the Republic of Korea shall apply to the interpretation of these Terms and any disputes between the Company and the user.
2. Any litigation arising from the use of the Service shall be under the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the Company's head office.
